Description
603 Brewery was founded in 2012 by long time college friends. As home brewers, who met while studying engineering, they set out to design high quality, hand crafted beers. As demand for the beers increased, the vision to launch a microbrewery was developed. With a focus on quality and versatility, our hand crafted beer is brewed using the finest ingredients in small batches.

Brewery only release from the source. Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that persists, Aromas of lemony citrus and light ripe melon with a hint of earthy pine. Light bready crackery malt deep underneath. Flavor follows the aroma quite well. overripe melon with hints of bready sweet malt. Love the hop aroma the flavor needs just a touch more pine earth or resin to help counter the fruitiness imho.

Thanks Doug, Growlette share.
My portion was poured into a nonic pint.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a one finger white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Semi-sticky lace.
The aroma starts with some roasty coffee beans, light sweet sharp cocoa beans, some toast.
The flavor leans sweet with the roast making a good effort to balance nicely. Sly roasty malt aftertaste with a nice balanced finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good for the style and for me.
Overall, very nicely done stout that I would have again.

Bottle from the brewery. Slightly hazy deep brown bordering on black with a small but well behaved bubbly tan head. Bourbon and oak dominate the nose. Bits of vanilla roast caramel earth and chocolate blend nicely. The flavor is a bit sweeter than I anticipated from the nose. Silky milk chocolate with bits of roast oak and earth and a touch of dried fruit. Lingering roast and a touch of alcohol heat in the finish. Pretty nice sipper.

Taster at the source. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a bubbly white head. Sweet bready caramel maltiness with just a hint of pepper and clove. Somewhat sweet and the Belgian character is very subdued.

Bottle from the Brewery Hazy dark copper color with a small bubbly off white head that slowly dissipates. Pumpkin spice on the nose as soon as its poured. Light caramel and a hint of molasses round out the nose. Sweet caramel but feels a little thin when matched against the spices in here. The Spiced rum is very subtle with the spice adding most to this beer. Decent pumpkin ale, but in my opinion needs a bit more residual sweetness to counter the spice a little better.

Bottle from the Brewery Pours a solid black color with a small wispy off white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aromas of chocolate covered pitted fruits with hints of brandy and light oak. The flavor is rich chocolate and light roast with a nice apple brandy liqueur flavor to cut through it nicely. Light oak light earthy flavor light roasty bitterness. Very approachable stout the barrel is subtle but adds a great complexity to the beer.

Taster at the source. Solid dark brown with a wispy tan head that persists. Bread with a light chocolate roast maltiness and plenty of citrusy earthy hops to counter. Firm lingering bitterness lasts long onto the finish. Pretty tasty black IPA.
