Taster pour at Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America. Appearance is hazy, light yellow with finger-width white foamy head. Aroma is resin and pine. Taste is same as aroma with some corn chip, balance of sweet and bitter. Palate is light-to-medium with thin texture, soft carbonation, finish is slightly bitter corn chip and pine. Overall, a pretty tasty brew but trends more toward IPA than APA.

22 oz. bottle purchased at Greg and Jane’s Beer and Wine, Epping, NH. Dated: 2/15/16. Color is pitch black with full head that died slowly. Aroma is nice slightly bolder pine and mild amount of roasted malts.
Flavor shows a decent roasted grain backbone. Problem here is the hops have died out a bit and leaves an unpleasant astringent bitterness. Body is thin and doesn’t really compliment the hops (since the hops are dead anyhow). I was left unsatisfied.

Poured from bottle dated 2/15/16 thanks Airforcehops. Cola brown pour with a nice coca head. Aromas of caramel malt bitter pine and chocolate. Taste is sweet caramel notes up front with a lingering pine bitterness. If your bottle is dated 2/15/16 drink it now. Drink this later at your own peril.

Growler from the brewery. Slightly hazy deep golden color with a smallish smattering of white bubbles. Big lime on the nose with an earthy spicy bready maltiness deep underneath. The nose reminds me a bit of 7 up. Earthy rustic woody notes with lots of lime to back it up. Faint spicy bready maltiness. I thought this was odd when I saw it, but it really works well. Somewhere between a margarita and lemon lime soda.

Taster at the source. I was told this is the granite stout with coffee added. Rich coffee aroma and flavor against a roasty chocolatey caramel stout. Really well made I quite enjoyed this.

On tap at Margaritas. Aroma is light banana, wheat, yeast. Appearance is hazy light brownish yellow with no head by the time it reached the table, no lacing and decent sparkle. Taste is banana sweetness with light clove and wheat breadiness. Palate is medium bodied with average carbonation and nice lingering banana/wheat finish. Overall, a decent wheat beer. Won’t blow your socks off, but serviceable.

22 oz. bottle thanks to Eric S. Thank bid! Bottled on 12/14/2015. Hazy orange color with thin bubbly, fleeting white head. Aroma is floral with a solid amount of citrus. Mostly oranges.
The flavor has juicy texture, plenty of citrus. The bitterness is moderate with a sweeter malt finish. Malt doesn’t over run the palate but sweet without a doubt. Maybe a hint of resin. Body is medium with plenty of malt. Nice but this will be had pressed to compete in a very hop heavy New England IPA market.

On tap at Cork ’n’ Keg, Raymond, NH in tulip glass. Aroma is strong malt and chocolate with roastiness and hint of coffee. Appearance is dark black/opaque with gorgeous light brown finger-width head (courtesy of nitro) and nice soapy lacing. Taste is more dark chocolate than milk, which is the dominant flavor, but there is good coffee bitterness in there as well. Palate is medium bodied with average texture and soft carbonation--smooth. Overall, this is really good with bold flavors but not cloyingly sweet and smooth palate highlights this.

Can from Bert’s Crystal clear deep golden color with a bubbly white head. Bready earthy lightly fruity with a hint of mineral water. I don’t really understand what this is supposed to be. A bit sweet some alcohol, I give up.

Bad day at work, lets fix that! Slightly hazy light golden color with a generous tightly bubbled bone white head with great retention. juicy citrus tropical and pine dripping off the nose. Light bread and caramel with a touch of alcohol on the nose to round this out. Sweet bread up front, resinous earthy pine hops on the palette with a touch of bitter and alcohol on the finish. Medium body, a little sweet but somewhat drying at the finish. Moderate carbonation. Half a glass and my day is starting to wash away.
