Bottle (dated 12/9/14--a little old) pour into nonic pint glass. Aroma is floral hops over bready malt and hint of pine. Appearance is hazy orange-brown with 1/2-finger width head which dissipates quickly and trace lacing with no sparkle. Taste is dominant floral sweetness over malts. Palate is medium bodied with slick texture and above average carbonation and mix of mild sweet/bitter lasting finish. Overall, the floral character dominates and this is not terribly bitter, which appeals to me. Those looking for more bitter or resin/citrus should turn elsewhere.

650 ml bottle purchased at Cigarette City. Black in color very thin head. Aroma shows milk chocolate, old coffee grounds, mild roasted barley.
The very best thing about this stout is the full body with a velvet like texture. The flavor is just as the aroma was implying; milk chocolate, coffee with creamer and the slightest hint of roast. Pretty nice stout.

12 ounce can from some random gas station. Hazy golden, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of biscuit and toasted malt, rye, citrus. The taste is rye, stone fruit, citrus, toasted malt. Thin bodied, refreshing, solid beer.

12 ounce can from a random gas station. Hazy dark amber, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of grainy malt and caramel. The taste is toffee, caramel, grain. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Where is this noticeable hop character they speak of?

On tap at the source. Dark brown with a smallish off white head. Big caramel and chocolate notes with some light nutty, vanilla and oaked bourbon to round it out. I really enjoyed this brew, wish I could have taken some with me.

This is a bomber, dark reddish brown, small head faded very fast. has a graham cracker and maple aroma with bread yeast, dough and malts. Very thin mouthfeel. nothing popping out here. It’s an amber ale, alright!

bomber. dark brownish orange pour. no head. aroma is light, bread like and you do get that rye spice in here. decent mouthfeel. rice and bread like mouthfeel with a consistency that’s just thin. rye and honey present. not much else.

OK, this year’s batch is here! On tap at the pub. Some pumpkin flavors in there fer sure. Alky is quite apparent. Difficult medicine as the session continues. At times, I think I’m catching a little buzz near the end. Quite strong for a punky beer but isn’t that the trend now with these kind of brews?
