4 oz. draft. Aroma and flavor are a carbon copy. Bolder coconut, pineapple, peach. Sour balanced by sweet fruit. Pretty decent. But nothing over the top. Good.

Can from the Packie Lightly hazy light gold in color with a decent sized bubbly white head that persists. Citrus pineapple and coconut nose and flavor. Like a citrus pina colada, not too shabby.

Can from the Packie Bright red with hints of purple and a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Tart grapefruit and hints of spice and a touch of saline. Not bad.

24.8 ounce can. 2019 release. Aroma is caramel, oak, and alcohol. Flavor itself is pretty good. Melted caramel candy, chocolate malt, and a slight sea salt going on in the finish. This is my 3rd or 4th variant of the Mitz. I find the same negative in all of them. The body and mouthfeel is lacking. Also even after sitting a bit the ABV is still pretty noticed. I think this is my last beer from this brewery.

16 oz. can. Flavor has subtle cherry up front with the lime lightly lingering in the finish. Bit of candy sweetness. Pretty subtle all the way around. They played this safe like many other brews from this establishment.

Can from the Packie Pours a mostly clear deep orange amber color with a small bubbly white head that quickly recedes. Light cherry and tart lemony with some bready caramel maltiness. Not horribly tart but a nice flavor.

Can from the Packie Dark brown bordering on black with a stingy off white head that dissipates. Rich milk chocolate with hints of roast and creamed coffee. Simple not horribly complex but easy to drink.

Can from the Packie, Lightly hazy lemon yellow with a decent sized bubbly white head that persists. Citrus and plastic phenols with a faint bready maltiness. Mild infection here or maybe kviek yeast?

19.2 oz. can (11/25/20) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! An opaque black (dark brown/garnet at the bottom of the glass) with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width creamy light-brown foam head with fair retention and trace lacing. Smells of strong bourbon (with an alcohol astringency that kind of burns the nostrils), cherry, roasted chocolate malts, toffee as it warms. Taste is overpowering bourbon (and kind of caustic) over much milder maple and even later dark fruit and roasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation, alcohol burn in the mouth with later mild esophageal alcohol warmth and finish as taste. Overall, wish I had let this sit at least another 6 months! The bourbon is so hot and dominating that it overshadows everything else and kind of ruins it. If you have one of these, let it sit and it might be a completely different experience!

Can from the Packie. Lightly hazy dark brown with and off white head that recedes. Rich caramel and toffee with bits of dark dried fruit, oak tannin whiskey and light sherry oxidation. Not bad.
