Poured from 750 ml bottle dated 9-1-17 split 2 ways. Deep brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is spice, brandy notes, bread. Flavor is really pleasant with notes of dark fruit, brown bread, light spice with a smooth balanced hint of brandy in the finish.

750 ml bottle shared by Chalmeaux. Bottled 9-01-17. Deep brown color. Aroma of spice, dark bread, subtle Brandy. Flavor is really pleasant. Dark malty base (dark fruit, pumpernickel bread). Light spice character with a smooth Brandy hint in the finish. Pretty nice brew.

16 oz Can from Bert's Hazy light golden color with a small bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. spicy yeasty phenol's dominate the aroma. Some citrus and earth come in midway through and remind us this is an ipa. Sweet bready malt medium body bubbly mouthfeel. Nice mashup of styles.

16 oz can from Bert's Slightly hazy deep golden color with a small but long lasting bubbly white head. Spicy earthy light lemon and bready malt on the nose. Flavor is sweet bread hints of honey earthy lightly art with a hint of metallic. Not bad.

Poured from can thanks AFH clear goldennrod with no head. Aroma is light fruit grains hint of citrus. Taste follows bitter fruit citrus.

16 oz. can Purchased at Greg & Jane’s. Crystal clear in appearance. Aroma shows me mild pineapple, weak seedy fruit. Flavor is mild pineapple and a hint of mineral water. Nothing really wrong here but it is very weak in any character.

750 ml bottle purchased at Greg & Jane's. Pricey at $19.95. Split 2 ways. Aroma is grapefruit pith, candied orange, earthy grain, mild rye. Flavor doesn't show a ton of barrel treatment. The whiskey comes out has subtle rye. Hops are subdued and everything is turning sweet at this point. Candied grapefruit and oranges. Full side of medium and body with a slightly sticky texture. Small amount of bitterness. Pretty good but a barrel aged IPA is kind of a oxymoron of a brew IMHO.

4 ounce draft sample at the brewery. Clear yellow appearance. Aroma is mild yeast, pale grain, honey, sugar. Flavor followed. Medium body, mild bitterness. A mild sugar toward the finish.
