Pours a dark brown from a bottle. Not picking up on much aroma or flavor. I do have a cold but I was able to pick up on notes rather easily for other beers I’ve had tonight. Rather insipid.

Tap at Reservoir, Waterbury. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, some fruits, citrus, sweetness and malts.

Pours deep mahogany into a shaker. Pancake head with medium retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Dark chocolate and caramel aromas. Dry with chocolate covered caramel upfront turning to mildly smoky roasted nuts and espresso in the medium length finish.

Pours cola into a shaker. Off white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Mild caramel aromas. Medium bodied with dark caramel and earthy hops turning to mild cocoa in the medium length finish.

This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a one and a half foamy off-white to tan head. Light foamy lacing stuck around the sides of the glass nicely.
The smell started with a delicate amount of sweet milk chocolate sliding into a graceful smokiness. Light roasty edges balance it out.
The taste was semi-sweet and roasty initially bringing in the smoke to balance. Light bready/yeastiness flows nicely into the grand scheme of things.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a nice score of level maltiness sliding over my tongue.
Overall, really nice schwarzbier ranging close to the \"rauchbier\" style.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Corn and sourdough aromas. Stale malt and sourdough upfront turning to sweet caramel and adjunct in the medium length finish.

Bottle at America on Tap Deep auburn color with a decent off white head. Rich maillard notes with hints of bready pilsner and a touch of floral spicy hops. Nice dark lager.

Draft. An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle from Bert’s Deep golden color with a small tightly bubbled white head. Sweet bready pilsner maltiness with a touch of spice and just a hint of fruit. Pretty nice stateside version of a German Lager, most don’t do it this well.
