500 ml bottle purchased at RedStone Liquors, Stoneham MA. Label reads bottled APR 2015 with an ABV of 6.3 percent. Color is a dirty straw gold with a good amount of lasting head. Nose is some a very subtle yeast with a strong amount of citrus hops, mild rye, very pleasing aroma.
The flavor starts with with spicy rye or perhaps yeast comes into play. The finish shows a nice citrus hop punch that lingers slightly. Bitterness overall is on the mild side and plays nicely with the yeast character. Correct carbonation level that gives a tingly sensation over the palate. Damn, I really enjoyed drinking this and wished I had another bottle after downing this one with ease. Highly drinkable for me on a warm May evening.

Bottle from Redstone Pretty clear for an unfiltered lager. Light golden color with a huge frothy white head. Spicy, earthy, floral hops on the nose with faint sulfur and even fainter malt character. The flavor is sharp spicy earthy hops with an almost metallic edge in there. The malt has no character, it needs something to stand up to the hop bitterness and it just isn’t there. I should have saved some of that Heide I just finished and mixed some in. Not horrible, but the recipe needs a little work imho.

Bottle from Redstone. Pours a lightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized but quickly dissipating white head. Big sweet bready pilsner maltiness on the nose with just a hint of skunk when first opened. Light floral hop barely balances the sweetness. Simple, tasty easy drinking lager I really enjoyed this!

Bottle from Redstone Slightly hazy deep golden color with a huge frothy white head. Huge pilsner malt aroma with a touch of green apple and spicy floral hops. Bready crakery sweet maltiness with a solid shop of spicy earthy hop flavor. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a silky bubbly mouthfeel. This is a very nice beer, I miss the malt depth that one gets from the German versions. Very drinkable lager.

Bottle at home in CT - picked up at the brewery. Pours unclear yellow-gold, highly effervescent, with a foamy white head. The aroma suggests a mild brett infection - subtle funk, grass, melon, farm. Light sweet flavor with further funky farmyard character, some citrus fruits, vague apples, leather. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Clean and refreshing on the finish with some further funk, slight lemon rind, zest, grapefruit pith. Quite tasty and drinkable, although I can only imagine this does not resemble the intended beer.

500 ml Bottle purchased at Julio’s Liquors. Sampled this slightly chilled. Ridiculous amount of carbonation on a slow pour Into a Weizen glass. After a few minutes to let the head settle, in the aroma I got a very light yeast nuance that isn’t of German decent, more of a Belgian like yeast with hints of herbal hops.
You should understand that this is an oxymoron of a style since true German Hefeweizens are NOT over hopped. I actually like the herbal and pine hop bitterness in this brew. However, I was looking for a German yeast strain. When you advertise a "German Hefeweizen " I really was expecting a German yeast element. That is not here. I enjoy the creativity the newer used but was let down a bit. Plus the body was thin and again lacked any type of yeast in the mouthfeel.
