Can from the brewery, drunk 2/16/25.
Viscous, dark, possibly unclear. No head. Tan edges.
Rich fudgey malts with super spicy bourbon. Uh huh...this is gonna be another good one...No booze, quite even and mellow with no warming or aggressive notes at all. Vanilla, mild oak, softest of bourbons...
Soft, rich, slick, thick, not-quite-syrupy, with roast and licorice leading to vanilla-like barrel with moderate spice, rich fudge, light soy oxidation and low carbonation. Chewy and rich with an almost coconut edge and tons of cacao notes. Really complex and interesting, soft, succulent and comforting with spicy bourbon retronasal. I absolutely love this man (the brewer).

375 ml bottle, thanks to Clarkvv on the share! Aroma of vanilla, toffee, apple skins, mild bourbon. Flavor has a soft rounded bourbon without any booze noticeable. Vanilla, wood, toffee, and apple. 🍎 Really great barrel treatment!

Batch 3 bottle drunk 2/9/25.
Clear with deep ruby highlights in a dark tan body. Slight ring if bubbles.
Candy, caramel, toffee, warm spice and vanilla. Super mellow, English, very easygoing and round and aromatic. No booze.
Buttercream and rich toffee galore with sweet, succulent malts and spicy bourbon. Fruity and rich with biscuit, hints of coffee and toast. A luscious sipper. Maybe just a touch sweet and syrupy. Just a touch.

16 oz can. Thank you Adam Chandler! Aroma has grapefruit, white grape, straw. Flavor follows. The citra and Nelson works is wonderful Harmony here. Bright grapefruit with bright grapes. Juicy character with almost no bitterness! Delightful!

Can shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! Typical look with nice head, lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and white grape, vaguest hint of cooking herb. Taste follows aroma with late background malt. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carb, finish as taste. What you would expect from these two hops. Quite nice!

Can thanks to Clarkvv! Nose shows white bready malt with soft white grape and herbs. Soft grapes with some herb and soft dank notes. Body is a touch flimsy but flavor is good.

Undated can drunk 1/12/25.
Moderately-to-heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Small-to-medium-sized, white head.
Reserved nose with light spice, light mango, moderate pineapple and biscuity malts. No sugar. Clean yeast, though still very fruity. Clean, not punchy. Some star fruit and maybe light gummy fruit brightens things.
Spicy up front but turning to pineapple and orange/lemon. Not very Nelsony, though it's got some deep, dank notes. Bit of herbal spice with a soft, biscuity, gently malty texture and good attenuation. Very mellow, very competent, if a little subdued.

Brewery draught, 12/19/24. Clear, dark, small, tan head. Nose is chocolate and delightful vanilla bean. Earthy, floral, nutty, with a bit less emphasis on the lager but still clean and well attenuated. Chewy choco-vanilla. Light roast and moderate hop with clean yeast and light mineral.
