Sampled at the Granite State Brewers Fest. Slightly hazy dark brown color. Lightly tart with some faint puckering. Still some sweet bready and caramel malt in there to balance the sour lemon and tart cherry. Pretty tasty.

Crowler I purchased from the brewery. Slightly hazy golden color, nice carbonation level. Aroma is nice yeast present, mild tropical fruit with just a hint of pale malt / honey.
Tropical front right upfront with a yeast through out the sip. The yeast is very well pronounced. Fruit comes from the hops but bitterness is low. Lots of lingering fruit. Nice break from the marathon of Imperial stouts right before sampling this.

Sample draft at the source on nitro. Pitch black in color. The nose is dark chocolate, molasses, vanilla, with a touch of roasted bitterness.
The flavor is very dry with the dark chocolate, molasses, and roasted bitterness, and just a hint of earthy malts in the back of the palate. The body is full with the nitro adding the smooth texture. Another all around nicely crafted brew.

Sample draft at the source. Bright hazy yellow in color with lasting full foamy head. The aroma is of tropical fruits, oranges and even a nuance of the banana from the yeast.
Wow, just a ton of fruit in this brew. Some pineapple, melon, with some biscuit malt balance. Juicy mouthfeel, medium body, normal carbonation, yet slightly creamy over the palate. Finishes with stronger hoppy bite, yet still juicy. The yeast and hops are at a wonderful balance in the brew. Awesome!

Sample draft at the source. Aroma is floral with scent of bread and citrus. Nice, thick and sustained white head that laced the glass while drinking.
Flavor has the noticeable banana and citrus. The nice thing here is the banana Yeast flavor never overwhelms the palate. The mouthfeel is on the fuller side but doesn’t become chewy. Had I had this in a blind taste test, I would have said this was a fresh Hefe brewed in Germany. Perfect use of the yeast.

Draft at the source. It pours a light amber with tinges of orange that is fairly clear. The aromas of hay and cereal with herbs and hints of the traditional bready malt you find in the style.
It has flavors of hay and bread with a few spices and hints of rustic grains. It has an old world German flavor to it without the "old" malt flavors that normally found in the style. The finish is very clean with the flavors not lingering at all. A fresh and light example of the style. Gosh, this Brewer sure does brew some really great German styles. I could drink a very large amount of this.

Draft at the source. Aroma is nice light citrus hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and mild notes of yeast. Taste is citrus orange, some herbal notes and nice light lingering bitterness. I would say slightly out of the normal for the style with all hops but it works pretty well. More hop induced rather than yeast and spice taking over.

750mL unlabeled bottle from the fine folks at the brewery, shared by AdamC on 5/21/16.
Clear mahogany-to-ebony with a tan head atop that shows strong retention.
Interesting burnt nuttiness in the nose backed by light milk chocolate, buttercream and a dry, almost liqueur-like maple character. Fresh yeast character with a light earthiness to balance the sweeter notes. No alcohol or flaws.
Really unique texture could easily be written of as too thin or light, but it’s got a prominent chocolate character with stronger vanilla-cream-like sugars adding body. That same interesting maple-like liqueur character with roasted nuts and mild toffee. Earthy, lightly roasted notes on the finish provide perfect balance. Alcohol no where to be found and the stuff is just incredibly drinkable with a very high attenuation. Almost comes off mildly Belgian Royal Stout-esque with the ample, bottle conditioned carbonation helping towards that end. Awesome stuff as usual, from Schilling, and glad I got to try it. Thanks for sharing, Adam!

750 ml Bottle shared by Adam. The Brewer at Schilling hand bottled this for us to try. Much thanks for this treat that was bottles in Dec. 2015! Pitch black in color, thin lasting head. Aroma is layered malts. Deep cocoa, big chocolate.
Flavor is cocoa, deep roasted malts, coffee hints. Molasses notes. The carbonation is soft and moderately velvety, with a sugary molasses that lingers. Full bodied, full mouth, wow... This is very well executed. A nice classic, non- adjunct stout.
