500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and piney, grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, mocha, spicy hints of hay, zesty, citrusy fruity overtones. Taste is crisp bitter, slightly piney and grassy, minimally fruity hoppy, roasty, chocolately, dark malty basis, notes of dark chocolate, mocha, orange, mandarine, orange zest; lingering bitter hoppy finish. Very nice!

On tap at wezze in Krakow (awesome place). Pours almost black, little head. Aroma is honestly a forest and spice bomb. Spruce, thyme, oregano, rosemary, blueberries. Woah. Really great but still not too overwhelming, malt base is still nicely there. Medium body. Complex and smooth mouthfeel. Flavours are pine, herbal hops, and some berry flavours. Spruce is really intense, but again, not overpowering. Herbs like rosemary are still there but not as intense. Also has a lemon touch. Nicely balanced with the malt, dark malts bring a really nice touch to the ensemble. Finishes dry and hoppy-resiny. All in all amazing beer, not for everyone and not suitable for binge drinking, but really my thing. Forest bomb indeed.

From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is bitter and slight fruity. Bitter snd slight herbal. Bitter and grassy to slight citrusy finish.

Sampled @ Festival Dobrego Piwa Wroclaw 2017. Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch ist mild zitronig hopfig, Heu. Geschmack ist mild hopfig zitronig, blumig.
