PETka from the brewpub. Lovely clear amber body with lively carbonation and a fairly lasting white head. Ooh, very interesting aroma peach and apricot jam, maybe plum, stone fruit all in all, sweetish, some strawberry and vaguely citric and tropic undertones. Fruit all over the place, sweetish, light maltiness. Much more subdued fruity taste with a big herbal bitter kick, some vague vague cough syrup, might actually function better without the kick but hmm, quite interesting.

1l PETka from the brewpub. Triple decocted, eh? Lessee. Clear full golden body, white head, looking fine! A pretty big white bread crust note and some herbal touches, but some buttery undertones as well, sliiightly too much, some honeyish and dry peppery touches come later as well, hmm. Smooth, smooth taste, initially nicely bready with a good herbal bitter kick and finish, but later on taking on some carroty touches too. Damn good in some ways, not quite there in others, but a good lager.

Točené (@ Bubeneč brewery, Prague): Pale golden, hazy, stable and lacy white creamy head, mild yeasty-fruity-estery nose, herbal to tannic hops well detectable; mild to moderate, dryish, bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, as expected, but not watery and pretty soft; lingering Saazy-fruity finish. Točené (@ Bubenetscher Brauerei, Prag-Bubenetsch):Golden with an orangey sheen, hazy to cloudy, medium-sized lacy white head, mildy “woody-tannic”and mainly Saazy-buttery nose, some fruity spots underneath; dryish bitter and mildly sweet flavour, not too light bodied, not overly soft; slightly lingering dry bitter-Saazy and mildly buttery finish. V pořádku…

Tap at the brewpub. Clear golden body, lasting small off white head. Peach and coconut fighting for dominance in the aroma, sweetish, full. Lean taste, peachy, lightly earthy and coconutty. Ah Wolf, how I've missed you! Carrot pops up slightly later, lightly. Light earthy-herbal bitter finish, slightly dry and astringent. Not bad, not great.
