Tap at Beer Spot. Pretty characteristic example of style. Roast centered, with a good balance of deep burnt coffeeish roast and soft chocolatey, nutty, caramelly notes. Rather full body, also rather sweet, though supported by moderate roast bitterness. Drinkable, quite good.

Tap at NaPalmě. Hazy golden body, white head. Strange aroma, herbal hoppy notes mixing with tartness. The taste is, however, much better. Sweetish but lean classic Czech malty background with notes of white bread crust on which fine herbal hoppy notes are spread out. Quite okay in the end!

Tap at První Pivní Tramway. Clear amber body, lasting white head. Lovely mix of citrusy Amarillo and slightly candyish light maltiness in the aroma. The taste follows suit. Citrusy (tangerine) - herbal Amarillo is just dominant enough over the smooth, clean, vaguely candyish maltiness, peachy touches show up too, and the taste ends in a mostly herbal finish with a bitternass that doesn't strike initially but builds up nicely. Not the world's best or most exciting IPA perhaps, but damn well made and tasty despite not being my kind of IPA in its essence, avoiding most pitfalls of the sub-style it belongs to.

Tap at Beergeek. Chestnut going black, off white head, creamy. Coffee w/milk aroma, creamy, slightly sugary, quite elegant and lovely, touches of chocolate, definitely full. Creamy sweetish taste, light coffee, vague chocolate, a touch of bitterness, ending dry. A shame after the lovely aroma, but a pretty solid stout really.
