Yellow with a hint of orange. The aroma is fresh cut grass and lemon zest and a very light wheat. Excellent mouthfeel. Has a substantial bitterness that lingers. I can’t pinpoint it. This is more of a gruit than a saison to me

Orange red appearance. One finger tan head. Smells a bit like a red ale. Certainly a saison yeast. Herbal, peppercorn and cilantro. Great mouthfeel. A lot of flavor but not all good imo. Medicinal with a lot of herbs. Lingering ginger and pepper and plastic

Keg at the taproom, 17/02/15. Mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is big on coffee grinds, biscuit, light spice, caramel, malt. Taste comprises more coffee forward notes, light cocoa rub, dark malt, pinch of spice, hint of dark fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid coffee affair, probably my favourite brew on my visit here.

Draft at Twin Leaf. Poured a dark black/brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was notes of light resin notes, touch of light dark chocolate in there too. Flavor was lots of roast, resin. Light booze sneaks up.

Draft at Twin Leaf. Poured a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light grape? I guess... Floral notes, with some light sweetness. Light Belgian notes in this one.
