On tap at R&B, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma doesn’t have a pleasant hop expression—sweaty, boozy, somewhat spicy—with a thin malt backbone. Flavour matches, with a pretty messed up hop expression of tired, sweaty, earthy hops and toasted malt. Hilariously incompetent IPA—nothing comes together. This is just sad.

On tap at R&B, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is faint, with veer light toasted malt and a touch of peppers. Flavour is vegetal more than anything, with toasted malt and maybe some habanero. Thin, lacking depth, and just totally incompetent and pointless. Crap.

On tap at R&B, pours an opaque dark orange with a small white head. Nose is pretty muted, with faint earthy blackberry pith. Flavour is much the same, with muted earthy blackberry pith and maybe some hop bitterness. The hell is the point fresh hopping a blackberry wheat ale, let alone serving it in January. Useless.

On tap at R&B, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fairly muted, with some oats, no notice of the cinnamon. Flavour is much the same, with obscured oats, earthines, not much cinnamon; hardly any malt depth, and just a jumbled mess. How can you mess up something simple like this?

On tap at R&B, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by the herbal basil, with little else, maybe some cereal malt. Flavour is then same, with lots of herbaceous notes. Not very satisfying, but at least not egregious.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber with a small, foamy, short lived, beige head that laces. Mild aroma of caramel malt, nutmeg and vanilla. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel and vanilla in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Not really getting any pumpkin, more of a spiced beer.

Black, tan head fades quickly. Nose and palate of cinnamon and light roast. Quite thin with very light roasted finish

473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of cinnamon, cola and light roasted malts. Flavors of cinammon, metallics and very light roasted malts. Thin and watery. Meh.

On tap at Steamworks Mount Pleasant. Pours a dull, murky ruddy colour with a white head. Light blackberries, pine, and lacto on the nose. Flavour has a dry, woody pine character, a bit muddled, some tart blackberries and tough grass. Not getting much fresh hop character, but as a hopped kettle sour this is a soft okay.

On tap at R & B, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of grassy hops, a touch of pine, herbal notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is clean-ish, with piney hops, some grassy notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Finishes moderately bitter, grassy and crisp. Not too bad.
