16.9 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Nose is full of intense, dark roasted coffee, which mostly drown out the bourbon barrels. Flavour is very rich, with intense bourbon barrels and deep, dark roasted coffee. There’s plenty of booze, but the coffee and bourbon still reign supreme. Excellent.

Dark brown. No head. Nose has a lot of coffee, and some dark sugars, light molasses. On the palate, there's a bit of soy sauce, a lot of coffee, good residual sugars but it's not sweet, light barrel, and a fair bit of alcohol. Good barrelly finish.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Mostra coffee is very upfront, dry and roasty, woody barrel, medium body.

500mL bottle. Pours very dark brown with a minimal head. Tons of roast, coffee, and bourbon on the nose. Flavour has dry dusty roast, coffee beans, and tons of charred bourbon barrels. Very nice.

On a flight of four in the Whole Foods bar in Laguna Niguel on 4th September 2025. Bright golden body, clean and clear, white crown on top. Piney and tropical fruit aroma and taste, liked it, Idaho 7 being a new favourite hop of mine.

Free sample (4oz maybe) in the San Clemente Wine Company on 2nd September 2025; fifth beer of the day, fourth new rate. Clean golden body, wispy white head. Tropical fruit mix in the nose and taste, orange like flavours to the fore, nice!

First beer on a three beer flight in the OC Local Taphouse on 28th July 2025. Hazy golden body, opaque; on top a snow white crown. Tropical fruit aroma and citrus feel to the taste, it's fine, but nothing different to hundreds of breweries Hazy IPA's.

US Pint (16oz), draft in the Beach Hut Deli near my daughters (on La Paz), 25th July 2025. Mini-haze in the golden body, decent white head. Poured very cold, so no aroma really, didn't really arrive as it warmed either. Citrus fruit flavours, no piney hops though, just fruity tropical stuff.
