On tap at the brewery pours golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice pine citrus some grapefruit notes and bread malts. Taste is more of the nice hops combo and light grain.

Part of a flight at Laguna Beach Brewery & Grille on 10th Dec 2017, claimed to be a 9% ABV DIPA on the menu. Misty orange body, white topping. I really liked this, good hop profile with tropical fruits to the fore, citrus leanings and fairly bitter throughout, yet with a solid malty base for balance. One of the best Mexican beers I have come across so far in my drinking.

Botella 33 cl. Cata XII Ratebeer Asturias en el kraken 04.. 09..2017 (r09). Lote L417 fcpref 10..2018. Amarillento dorado velado con bastante espuma blanca persistente. Sabores cereales secos con ligeros herbaceos y suave suave picante al final mezclado con suave amargo seco. Original. Corriente.

355mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dark cocoa, toasted malt, and some light spiciness. Flavour is along the same lines, with dark cocoa, toasted malt, and some bready cardboardy notes. Not particularly pleasant but it's not bad. Decent.

355ml bottle at Matt's. Pours a very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is slightly sweet wotb dark fruits, some leather notes. Taste is similar. Quite good stuff.
