We specialize in producing distinctive all-malt lager and other German and Czech style beers. We use only the finest, most appropriate malts, hops, water and yeast in our beers. While our lagers are similar to those made in Germany and the Czech Republic, they are our own unique interpretation of the style.
Lager beers are fermented at lower temperatures than ale, using yeast that has adapted to cooler fermentations. Low temperature fermentations create fewer “yeasty” aromas, esters, and flavors that are so common in ales. We brew lagers because we enjoy their smooth malty and hoppy character.

22 oz bomber sent to me by bvc. Pour is a slight haze orange amber. Aroma is light dying fire smoke and meat, a good amount of toasted malt coming through as well. Nice balance between smoke and malt notes. Taste is lightly sweet toasted malt along with a nice soft smokiness, meaty, a bit ashy, overall a nice balance. Palate is medium to light bodied, lingering smoke finish. Nicely drinkable, thanks Brnadon.

Bier was all over the map. Dark clear brown pour. No head, much lacing. Aroma of caramel malt. Full bodied flavour of sweet malt with something unpleasant. Not much finish, but what there was was a spicy pleasant. Draught. Might benefit from being laid don.

Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours clear striking mahogany with thin off white head. The aroma is pretty bold with pleasing levels of earthiness, smooth smoke, chocolate and roasty malts. The taste is smooth and nearly creamy yet with a fairly thin body pushing up notes of roasty malts, chocolate, earthiness, bitter chocolate, a touch of spicy hops and faint smoke. The malts dry it out a bit into the finish. Smooth tasty sessionable solid brew.
