Description
Determined to find a way or make one, the idea of BLACK PLAGUE was founded to create a community, relationships, and great beer. BLACK PLAGUE began as an abstract idea about bringing people together over delicious beer… but it quickly became more than that. Doors opened in June 2017 and we have won multiple awards for our beers.

BLACK PLAGUE Brewing represents the misfits, renegades, underdogs, rebels, rule-breakers, nonconformists, hustlers, D-I-Yers, and all those who strive to be better, stand out from the crowd, and follow their true passion. Our mission is to provide deliciously fresh hand-crafted beer that emboldens a community around collaboration and inspiring creative self-expression – reminding us that death is certain, so we must live life to the fullest.

Can from Total Wine in Vacavile, CA. Pours hazy gold with a nice white head. Aroma has mango, green melon and more. Med body. Juicy but only mildly sweet. There's enough bitterness for balance. Good flavor.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate creamy white head that didn't try to persist. Aroma is bready with a corn note. Near med body. Flavor is aroma plus some hop that's a mix of citrus, floral and something. Seems like a South lager.
