Bottle from hetbiermoment.nl. Pours dark brown-black with brownish beige head. The head stays. Aroma is smoke, malt, roast, chocolate. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, smoke, bacon, malt, chocolate, sugar. Body is on the thinner side. Overall: very good.

Draught Very good ultrafine & dense head over hazy foxy red-amber beer. Huge head hampers the perception at first. Toasted malts, other grains, orangepeel, flowery, wholemeal bread. Caramel, toast, wholemeal bread smeared with butter - sorry, diacetyl. Nearly rancid hazelnut oil. Burning feel, slick, medium bodied. The rye is traceable in the MF. Diacetyl - not my taste.

Bottle at a Tasting at Koelschtrinker's place. A black beer with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee and citrusy bitter hops. Taste of dark roasted bitter malt, lot of coffee, citrusy bitter hops, long bitter finish.
