0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before April 2025. Happy Birthday! Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, dark brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, toasted hazelnut and some bourbon. Rather sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of dark chocolate, mocha, toasted hazelnut, some bourbon and a touch of vanilla, followed by a long, quite roasty-bitter, slightly earthy and gently boozy finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Thick, saturating and rich, a beast of a Stout. Barrel-aging is rather subtle, mouthfeel is superb. Very good!

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een wit schuim. Het aroma is gistachtig en wat wrang. De smaak is moutig, kruidig en Brut achtig.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment'. Hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish, gently fruity taste of mango, some peach and light coriander. Moderately sweet, gently sour, quite fruity taste of mango, lemon, some rhubarb and light coriander, followed by a short, slightly tart, a bit minerally finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and a bit oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Solid fruited gose.

0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before September 2023. Murky, brownish orange with a thin, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, slightly dank aroma of lots of mango, some passion fruit and light orange. Gently sweet, fairly fruity, slightly dank taste of massive mango, some orange and a touch of passion fruit, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly peppery finish with a gentlehop burn. Medium body, slightly fizzy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting DIPA, looks like shit but offers some nice tropical flavours accompanied by some subtle peppers (which I don't really like in beer). Could have been worse.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel as vintage 2018.
Dark brown with an off-white to tan head. Nutty oak aroma with some plums and raisins. Sweet taste with a rather sharp dry oaky finish. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Decent but the barrel aging could have gone better.
