Bottled 330ml (Biertonne)
Hazy amber-orange colour, small white head. Aroma has toffee, honey and Belgian yeast. Medium-bodied. Malts, toffee, vanilla, honey, Belgian yeasty spiceyness, light alcohol. Wood is not dominating, quite old school -style Tripel. Good.

Grainy Ale nose. The beer is slightly sourish with fruity parts. Hints of grain, caramel. Not too much depth, very soft with a grainy caramelly finish. Easy to drink with soft finish.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before June 2024. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, minimally smoky aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, some bourbon and a touch of vanilla. Gently sweet, malty, rather roasty-bitter taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, hazelnut, some bourbon and a touch of vanilla, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter, earthy, a little woody, slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth, slightly creamy and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Such a tasty beer, very classic RIS, nicely barrel aged. Good!

Double IPA. Brownish hazy colour with thin head. Aroma has grapefruit peel. Flavour too. Also sweetness of citrus fruit in the taste. Not quite right.

Black, at least in low lighting. Aroma and flavour have fruity hop notes. Quite skunky and earthy too. Aftertaste has some bitter burnt caramel. Very flavoursome.

Light brown and clear with lasting head. Aroma and floral deliver on the promise of rye and hops. Plenty of flavour. A bit lacking in body as to be expected but very good overall.

Bottle. Bit hazy dark goldenwith short lasting fizzy white head. Pineapple, lactic notes, seawater, bready malts. Medium sweet and sour, quite salty. Medium bodied. A bit weird, the salt and pineapple clash for me.

0.75 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before December 2023, cellared for over a year. Black with a thin, slightly creamy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly sourish, gently roasty, quite smoky-medicinal and a little fruity aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, peat, iodine, red berries, red wine, oak and traces of vinegar. Quite sweet, malty, gently sour, roasty, fairly smoky-medicinal, rather vinous-fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, red berries, red wine, oak, peat, iodine, quite some vinegar and light glue, followed by a medium long, quite tart, fairly woody-dry, vinous, smoky-medicinal finish. Medium to full body, smooth, moderately astringent and slightly creamy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Extremely complex beverage, so much going on, just a little gluey and maybe a tad too sour for my liking, otherwise it would be great.
