Sample at Hoof Hearted during the Dragonsaddle Triple IPA Can Release on 11/15/2015. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, hops and pine. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, resiny hops and a touch of chocolate. The finish is malty up front with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Keg at Top Hops - NYC. Pours ear, yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Lovely aroma with lots of juicy citrus fruits, fragrant flowers, melon, peach. Medium sweet flavor with light bitterness, pleasant notes of apricot, peach, orange, melon, light alcohol, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, lightly warming, with some oily hops, gooey citrus fruits, more melon and peach. A very nice DIPA. Quite drinkable for the strength.
