Can from ABC In Kauai. Pours orange gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is tropical maybe to include passion fruit. Flavor like the aroma plus a touch of citrus. Fairly dry and moderately bitter.

On Taps & Apps, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has a nice estery saison yeast character, light rustic notes, and a touch of candi sugar. Flavour is citrusy and attenuated fairly dry, with plenty of earthy notes, citrusy notes, and subdued rustic notes. Citrusy, earthy finish. Not totally authentic but it's decent.

On tap at Aloha Beer - Kaka'ako, pours a clear copper with a tiny white head. Aroma has plenty of oak upfront, with subdued esters, attenuated out candi sugar, and alcohol. Flavour is much the same — this doesn't seem like a proper tripel, but the barrels help this along. Oaky, bready, estery finish with not too much residual sweetness. Inauthentic but not too bad.

On tap at Aloha Beer - Kaka'ako, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is light, with minerally notes, biscuity malt and very, very subdued grassy hops. Flavour is reasonably crisp, with grassy hops, straw, and some seltzery notes. Finishes crisp and grassy, but could use more hops. Decent.

On tap at Aloha Beer - Kaka'ako, pours a clear copper with a small beige bead. Aroma reveals bitter piney hops, bready malt, and some resins - balance seems a bit messy. Flavour is more or less the same, with piney and resinous hops, some grapefruit peel, and sweet bready malt. Balance is OK; the bitter grapefruit peel is felt on the finish, with plenty of hops and sweet malt. I'd prefer less malt sweetness but the beer is constructed decently.
