Description
Our goal here is simple—delicious craft beer. Our success hinges on the drive of our Beerworkers, whose passion is fueled by the support of our loyal beer loving community.

In 2014, Geoff Seideman and his wife Charmayne opened Honolulu Beerworks, a neighborhood craft brewery in the heart of Kaka'ako. From the beginning they focused on using unique and locally sourced ingredients in the brewing process. Honolulu Beerworks now has an experimental and robust barrel aging program.

Keg at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Cloudy pale golden, small head. Bready nose with marzipan and elderflowers. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Light marzipan, light bread, light elderflowers, some citrus. Mid bitter finish.

Dark. Some roasted notes, light cocoa, a bit earthy. Pretty standard stout. Thin body with high carbonation is a bit detracting. Decent.

Deep amber with a slight tan head. Toasted malt, a bit of earthy hop, chocolate, sweet grain. Medium bodied. A very nice Vienna.

Orange with a white head. Refreshing tropical fruits, light malt crackers. Easy but well made. Could do a couple rounds here.

Rusty orange. Toasted malt, toffee, light caramel, a bit of fruit. Malt forward with a bitter backbone. Solid and enjoyable.

Sheltered Bay IPA from Honolulu Beerworks

Light Amber orange. A bit of citrus and vegetal notes in the nose. The veggies leave in the flavor and is mostly citrus and light caramel malt. Bitter finish. Standard.

Pale gold with slight haze topped by a white head. Nice fresh citrus, some yeast, toasted malt, a bit sweet in the finish. Medium bodied. Refreshing.

Hazy orange with a white head. Powerful citrus fruit and sweet fresh tropical notes throughout. Medium bodied. Peppery finish. Finish zings ya with bitterness. A quality IPA.

Kewalos Cream Ale from Honolulu Beerworks

A bit thin with sweet toasted malts and some light hop notes. Clear golden with a white head. This one didn’t quite live up to the rest of their lineup, unfortunately.
