14 oz. pour at Duke's Kauai. Pours a clear, dark, brown color, with a small, beige head. The nose is pecans, toast, cola, cane sugar, and toffee. Sweet and malty, with a good, light, bitter finish. Easy and tasty.

12 oz can poured, and the finale of my Hawaii collection. Thanks to Hanna for the can! Dense cola brown appearance. Plenty of tan foam head that lasts. Rich milk chocolate like aroma. Aroma comes off as a dessert brew, but the flavor proves to be much more bold. Nice roast, soft coffee notes, molasses, sure. Chocolate and dark toasty, tasty malts. Moderate bitter, espresso like finish. Really fun brew here.

12 oz can poured, gifted by Hanna. Thanks! Even you know to look out for the pepper beers for me while on vacation. Love it! Copper appearance, moderate foam head and lacing. Pepper really comes through nicely on the aroma. It's the centerpiece, as it should be. Doesn't come off as a dangerous heat at all. Indicates that this will be all pepper flavor without the heat, and it is. Bold malt and pepper flavor combine for a very nice flavor. Smooth taste. Very enjoyable. Damn I love this style way too much!

12 oz can poured at home, gifted by Hanna. Thanks! Thick appearance, murky apple golden pour, a patchy foam head. Floral like aroma, some banana like fruit, and a sweet gum idea as well. Never really sought after the style, but looked forward to this one, and the prospective Hawaiian twist to it. It sure does have one, if it's not just my imagination. Creamy hefe. Flavorful, and tropical. Interesting for sure.

Pours light amber.
Light chilli aroma and it almost feels like it burns your nose a little bit.
Flavour is full on chillies and it's a very odd tasting beer the first few sips. It did however grow on me and when I was on my last sip I wish I had more. Very refreshing for an amber and a beer everyone should at least try because of the weirdness of it. Unique and balanced although the chilli is the main flavour. Light mouthfeel.
