Dull beige. Smells like kids' cereal. Marshmallows, vanilla, I can't even smell all the shit they put in this.If Body Shop made a vanilla-scented ball wash, it would smell like this. And it's sour? Holy shit. Ok, so vanilla cinnamon, pumpkin spice marshmallow sour. I don't hate it, but it's pretty comical.

355mL can, pours a cloudy dull golden with a small white head. Aroma is ridiculous, with marshmallow, vanilla beans, lactose and who knows what else. Flavour is very strange, with vanilla, pumpkin spices, lactose, salt, and who knows what the hell else. If a beer smells like the Body Shop, it is a 'what the fuck' beer, ~fiulijn. Yep, that's an accurate description. What is the target audience for this shit?

(750ml bottle c/o Herbalist, thanks!) Pours a lightly hazy pale gold with a big head of white froth, lasts well with lace. Notes of bright lemon, lime and orange peels, fresh leaves, pine needles, wet hay, prominent cheesy old hop funk and herbal quality, moderate oak, a little astringency. Dry throughout with a crisp minerality and a little seam of lactic tartness that carries into the finish, lightly bitter with herbs and wood. Light to medium body with bright smooth carb. Really nice, elegant and well made, the aged hops giving it a decidedly lambic-adjacent quality with high gulpability.

16oz (thx, Phill S.!) @ home. Appearance: hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma: sour and sweet, with lemon and vanilla notes. Taste: along the same lines, quite lemony, with lots of vanilla. Lactose. A bit dry. Overall: ok. I suppose we need a new style - pastry IPA.
