Bottle: Poured a bright yellow/orangey color ale with a large pure white foamy head with some retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice delicate peach notes with some light tart notes is very refreshing. Taste is also a mix of delicate peach notes with some tart notes and some light oak notes with no discernible acidic notes. Body is pretty full with excellent carbonation. Super easy to drink and very enjoyable overall.

Half Hour on Earth Control Bored Camomile Sour 6.5% Mellow golden beer with a thick soapy head of foam. I’m digging the aroma of sweet camomile that brings to mind a flaky apple pie. Medium bodied, soft and smooth with a very tart green apple like flavor up front then camomile which merge in the aftertaste to give me a slice of freshly baked apple pie with a flaky crust. Quite a fun acidic sour.

Half Hours on Earth Yalla Yalla Styrian Golding 6.5% A bready malt aroma with mild hoppiness on a somewhat cloudy gold body topped by a dense white head. Lovely tangy Sour acidity on a medium body. Not as fun and tangy as the Simcoe.

Can: Poured a mostly hazy bright yellow color lager with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dank and grassy notes with some really nice floral undertones. Taste is also a great mix of dank and grassy hops notes with some floral undertones and a nice creamy clean finish. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. First non-sour beer from these guys and I am quite impressed.

Got in a BIF from Coronaeus. 375 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 9/2018. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden amber color with a 3 finger dense and fluffy off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Amazing appearance. Aromas of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, pecans, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, maple syrup, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, pecans, maple syrup, bourbon barrels, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, pecans, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, maple syrup, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of oaken vanilla, leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast/oak tannin spiciness, and lactic tart/tang/sourness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, pecans, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, maple syrup, wheat, cracker, white bread, leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, pecans, maple syrup, bourbon barrels, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt, tart, sour, tangy, spiciness balance; with minimal puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness, yeast/oak spiciness, and carbonation. High carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an amazing flavored wild/sour saison! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, pecans, maple syrup, bourbon barrels, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and easy to drink with the moderately spicy/acidic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Amazingly well rounded Brett/Bacteria/Saison yeast complexity; with great maple syrup, pecan, and bourbon barrel presence/integration; and solid pale/wheat malts against acidity. Zero residual sweetness with crisp carbonated dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing experimental style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect.
