2018-12-27, tasting at Oakes' Manor, can, 8-4-7-3-16=38
Ruby colour with pink head that looks like whipped cream. Aroma of raspberry jam and vanilla. Smooth, lightly sweet, blueberry jam, and vanilla.
Very nice.

Dark red colour, hazy. Smells like sugar floss, artificial vanilla, creamsicle. Tastes like fruit candy, not very sweet, artificial vanilla.
Weird and not a good beer.

341mL can, pours a deep dark pinkish purple with a small off-white head. Aroma is loaded with maple syrup, with heavy blueberry, vanilla and lacto - lots of shit. Flavour is along the same lines, with heavy vanilla, lactose, blueberry and artificial fruits. So many adjuncts but somehow they work okay. Decent.

Purple. Thin head. On the nose, blueberry and vanilla, and you could sell me on the oats. On the palate, light and tart, blueberry, nice vanilla sugar accent. Actually, this is well-balanced.

Pale blond colour, cloudy. Smells herbal, lemongrass, maybe sage, soap. Dry mouthfeel, moderately acidic, herbal, with sharp finish, funky, astringent.
Rosemary and sage shouldn't belong to contemporary beer.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very spicy, with loads of rosemary and sage, with a touch of oak and rustic saison yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with rosemary and sage upfront, followed by saison yeast, oak and tart citrus. Lots of rosemary and sage on the finish. Interesting stuff.
