(Bottle @ Witchstock 2018/on tap @ Birreria Volo, Toronto, Oct 1/18) Pours clear deep purplish-red with a small pink-white head. Notes of red fruit, berries, candied tart cherry, sweetish red wine, soft to moderate vanilla, deep oaky notes, quite tart at the core despite the sweetness, lactic and maybe a touch acetic, some funky earthy Brett. Fruity tart finish, tannins, lingering oak and vanilla. Medium bodied and very softly carbonated. Better in bottle than on tap in my opinion, though the latter did open up with time. No real bourbon noted but the vanilla could mask it. Nice one.

Bouteille 375ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur jaune voilée, mousse blanche aérienne. Arôme de pomme mûre, levure, boisé. Goût de pomme, levure, acidité moyenne-élevée, céréales, côté sauvage, légère amertume, très sèche. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen.

A golden lager with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity biscuit malt with loads of herbaceous bitter hops, light coriander, veering on saison. In mouth, biscuit malt with resinous herbaceous hops, reminiscent of home brews, light mineral notes, light fruity esters, a tad unpleasant.

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light acidity, light lemon, light Brett, very nice. In mouth, a nice tart mix of lemon pulp, light tropical fruits, light resinous notes, very nice and refreshing. Can from brewery.

Bottle: Poured a reddish color ale with a large pink color head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of raspberry and hibiscus is very refreshing with light tart notes also observable. Taste is a mix of raspberry and hibiscus with some light tart notes, light oak and very subtle residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Super enjoyable fruity sour with nice level of drinkability.

Bottle: Poured a dirty golden color ale with a white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of oak, vinous notes with some barnyard tart notes is quite interesting. Taste is a mix of barnyard notes with some vinous notes, some oak and a dry funky finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Very complex while retaining some very good drinkability.

Arôme de framboise fraîche, acidité, boisé, floral, funk, côté vanillé probablement apporté par le chêne. Goût de framboise, boisé, acidité moyenne, pépin de framboise, côté sauvage, funk. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée toute en finesse, corps moyen.
