Tap @ Denver Beer Co. Clear, rust orange appearance with a white head. Quite toasty, a touch burnt, caramel malty, earthy/grassy hoppy aroma. Fairly bitter, light dms, veggie, toasty malty, caramel, herbal flavor. Not for me.

Dark brown, fizzy, cola-like appearance - aroma of light smoke, mineral and cocoa - carbonation is a bit rough in the mouth - flavor is dry and smoky up front, but a chocolate sweetness quickly develops that lasts through the finish - a kind of sharp acidity develops towards the end, which compounds the abrasive feeling of the carbonation - rough.

This is very herbal and tea-like - probably the most tea flavor I have had in an IPA - seriously, it tastes like hoppy tea - on top of that, it is extremely sweet, so it tastes like hoppy SWEET tea - lingering sugar in the finish - a bit of floral hops - meh.

Tap at the brewery - clear burnished copper - nose is light esters, moderately rich malts and a light metallic note - moderate, clean sweetness and light fruitiness in the flavor - fairly bright on the palate - however, the tail end brings light peanut skin and a strong metallic note, like sucking on a penny - decent up front, but falls apart and gets rather sharp in the finish.

Tap @ brewery. Deep brown/black appearance with a small, cream colored head. Cocoa, coffee, rich vanilla aroma. Somewhat roasty, dark chocolate malty, light char, mild caramel, vanilla, espresso flavor. Not bad.

Tap @ brewery. I believe this is different than the smoked lager, but I could be wrong. Clear, golden orange appearance with an off white head. Light meaty smoky, caramel, earthy, grassy aroma that is fairly mild. Tasty, pork meaty, smoky, chewy, caramel malty, a bit earthy flavor. Tastes great but the aroma is pretty mild.

Tap @ brewery. Dark golden appearance with an off white head. Mild smoky, slight bbq/bacon, toasty malty nose that’s not that assertive. Moderate smoked woody, bacon, toasty malty flavor with a slightly burnt, bitter finish. The aroma is a little passive.

Tap @ brewery. Dark brown appearance with a brown head. Somewhat roasty, chocolate malty, light coffee, a bit resiny, piney hoppy aroma, though the hops are not very strong in the nose. Somewhat caramelized, chocolate malty, toffee, tingly, earthy, bitter hoppy flavor. Carbonation seemed a bit high.

Tap @ brewery. A bit hazy, reddish orange appearance with a tan head. Orange, herbal, a bit grassy, potpourri, a bit toasty malty aroma. Rich orange citrusy, somewhat herbal, a little chalky, grassy flavor. Bleh.

Tap @ brewery. Cloudy, yellow appearance with a white head. Spicy, light ginger, lime, grassy aroma. Chalky, aspirin, tangy lemon, ginger, white pepper flavor. Pass.

Poured at SAVOR. Poured a hazy straw color with a small solid white head. Aroma was lime, lime leaf, wheat notes. Crisp notes. Lime and wheat dominate this one. Very interesting.
