Description
Denver Beer Co. was born in our garages with a few batches of home brew and a love for the craft of brewing. Serving only premium artisan ales and lagers, we utilize fresh ingredients and embrace both innovative and old world styles of beer. Similar to a farmer’s table, our beer selections change with the seasons. By brewing in small batches, we can ensure that a few old favorites are always on tap, but new goodies greet visitors each month.

Our brewery is founded on passion for high quality, flavorfully crafted beer and the belief that the best pints are those shared with good company. Drawing inspiration from beer gardens of Bavaria, we designed Denver Beer Co. to be a place where new and old friends can share a table and pint out of doors.

Tap @ brewery. Reddish brown appearance with a cream colored head. Toffee, caramel, hazelnuts, slightly burnt malty nose. Weird fruity sweetness in the flavor along with caramel, nuts, and some toastiness. Finish is quite sweet.

Jeez what a mess - loads of sugary sweetness - quite nutty, but not the hearty, sweet nuttiness you expect from the style - more like burnt peanut skins - leafy, tobacco-like bitterness - bready and yeasty - charred sugars and husky grains on the tail end - another miss on this trip - oh, well - time to order a pint of then smoked lager!

Hazy glowing orange - flavor is very dense and yeasty - bready character and flavors - moderate acidity and strong grapefruit and orange rind - light esters - chewy, damp biscuits - kind of a mess and not at all the clean, crisp ale you expect considering the style.

Lightly hazy orange - apparently made from the second-runnings of a barley wine they made recently - very clean, crisp and dry, with a lot of Biscuity maltiness and moderate mineral character - hops are moderately earthy and bitter - mostly just crisp, dry malts throughout - nothing stand-out, but very clean and session able, which is what I assume they were going for.

Tap @ brewery. Dark yellow orange appearance with a fluffy, white head. Cool, floral, mildly spicy belgian yeasty, peppery, mild citrusy, appetizing aroma. Fairly floral with some bitterness, peppery, moderately spicy, belgian yeasty, refreshing flavor. Some citrus but a lot of pepper and flowers. Not bad though it’s not your prototypical saison.

Tap @ brewery. Pretty hazy, golden appearance with a white head. Mild red fruity, mostly wheat malty driven aroma. Bready wheat, citrus fruity flavor with the pomegranate and mild tartness showing up on the finish. Very mild, tart, fruity aftertaste. I like this one a lot more than the lime wheat.

Tap @ brewery. Reminds me of Quebec where they would serve a lime with wheat beers. Cloudy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Big lime zesty, almost seltzer-like aroma. Tangy lime, lemongrass, fairly spicy, wheat malty flavor. Pretty easy drinking but too soda-like for my taste.
