Cloudy amber color with small head. The aroma is moderately fruity, tropical, lightly caramelly. Lean mouthfeel, off-dry, with mild caramel flavor, and plenty of orangey character, hop resins; strong but expected bitterness.
Very good. Dry IPA with no more than a faint caramel accent.

375mL capped bottle shared with Crow and Pruf. I was excited for this beer b/c everything else I tried from them was very good. However, this was not. The nose has DMS or something that else that makes my nose with a mix of hops. Flavor is better and the hops are more bright with American assertive hops dominating. But still some of that off character. 5/3/6/3/12
RE-rate with some time. The weird hop character is gone. The brett is there but its not the way I like it. There is a little bit of cardboard coming in through the flavor. The flavor is a little thinned out as well. The brett just doesnβt shine as I want it to be. 6/3/6/3/13

Cloudy blond color with small head. Strange aroma, very floral, jasmine and elderflower, also creamy, possibly buttery, light papaya. The mouthfeel is soft and off-dry, a bit fruity and flowery, with cedar peel in the final, also mildly astringent.
Totally weird, but interesting.

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very bizarre, with vegetal notes, bubblegum, herbal notes, and funky brett. Flavour brings out funky herbal notes and some vegetal notes. Very bizarre stuff -- the funk is nice, but the prominent vegetal qualities aren't. Not very pleasant.

1st rater. 22oz bottle poured into a 10oz Allagash thin tulip glass. Pretty dark brown color with ruby highlights. The early pours are clear but too dark to see through. The beer is a beautifully melded creation that I have not tasted for the style in a while. Smallish beer so no heat, no unwanted banana esters, no sugary Belgian candy. Its amazing that a beer is missing all that. What is left? A felt brown bread flavor with sweet raisin and plum characteristics. Very light on the palate with low hop presence. This will be a re-buy.

750mL capped bottle poured into De Dolle long stemmed tulip-globe. Beautiful thick, strong, cloud-like head. Golden color underneath the long lasting head. Just a beautiful beer, perfect looking for the style. Aroma has a strong yeast airiness with herbal and rustic yeast character. Banana and similar esters are nil. Just a hint of slick sweet Belgian malts, but works real well with the rustic character. Body is medium light, carbonation is smooth on the tongue and slightly tingly on the cheeks. Flavor is similarly rustic with maybe a hint of herbal hops peaking through at the very end. The beer definitely seems like a Saison Dupont clone. Very well constructed and executed. At 9 bucks and 5.7 abv, I think this is definitely returnable. And I love the Mitch Hedberg reference.

Hazy golden color. Some hop and vegetables aroma, a bit minty, not enough fresh. Lean mouthfeel, soft; delicate malt flavor with touch of toffee and cereals; correct bitterness.
Maybe not fresh, but a solid beer anyway.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tropical fruits, including kiwi, papaya, and grapefruit, and citrus hops. Flavour is identical, bringing out wonderful tropical fruity notes, especially the kiwi and passionfruit. The hops aren't that potent - this is a total tropical fruit bomb. Very nice stuff.
