Weird bottle. 50cl maybe? Clear gold, basically no head. Green apple, a little green grape, apricot there. Flavor is green grape, some stone fruit. A little washed out. Thin.

Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: black in color with a quickly dissipating foamy to fizzy head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, black coffee with some light notes of dark fruits and then a lighter note of some chilis
Flavor: merges the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty character initially and then provides a lighter note of the chili spiciness; finishes roasty and chocolatey with an even lighter dose of the chilis
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe closer to medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; the chilis seem pretty tame throughout consumption and really don't lend much aggression as I thought they would have
Overall: seemed more like a lighter bodied stout with chilis in it than a wild/sour ale but hey, what do I know. I'd still have this again and hopefully Urban Family beefed up that body to be more of a bigger stout-ish like beer to equate to the ABV they said this beer is supposed to be.

Bottle to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass capped by a two and a half fingers of khaki foamy head which dissolved nicely to leave a good amount of clingy lace
Aroma: dark chocolate, black coffee, dark bread, subtle sweet ash, light smoke and then the dark fruity sweet tones of the plums but I say that thinking there's some other dark fruits in there too, just seems quite muddled
Flavor: sweet and roasty through the prior noted aromas with a kind toast/bready edge sliding in underneath; finishes dark fruity and milk chocolatey
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue as nothing is there to show any distracting flow to the beer
Overall: seems to lean towards an English porter slightly with a modern twist which I believe I liked and would welcome this beer again.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy yellow to subtle copper color with some transparency about it and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave a lot of messy lace
Aroma: grassy hoppiness; white grapes, citrusy hoppiness; lemon rind; lemon pulp; some vinous to funky tones; Belgian-ish yeasty tones; subtle sour notes, sly honey far down in there
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas except the honey to a fine vinous sweet to tart and then sour to funky character; lemony and white grape bitterness; finishes lemony to white grapey and semi-vinous
Texture: light to medium bodied; leaning towards the sipper side; some smoothness but also some tart and sour abrasiveness to the tongue
Overall: I think I liked this one...but I wouldn't mind that honey popping a bit more to possibly balance the beer a bit more; however, I don't even know if the honey was intentional or not.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: pale yellow to stiff orange color with a half finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: lemon pulp; sweet grassy to hay scents; lemongrass; subtle Brett; sly herbal tones
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a tart to sweet and then underlying sour character; finishes lemony to Brett-like and a touch of herbal quality
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning to the sessionable side slightly as the Brett and sour tones seem fairly restrained here
Overall: lovely beer that I would come back to.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy yellow to almost orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral and spicy tones of the rye; light hay/grassy tones, subtle lemon
Flavor: spicy and floral through the prior noted aromas; finishes with the rye floral and spicy vibe
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning to being somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of the rye penetrates the tongue
Overall: I was hoping for the sweet side of the rye to happen but that never happened, still, if that's the only thing that seemed out of place then the rest of the beer is pretty good and worthy of coming back to.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: pale cardboard yellow to orange color with a quickly dissipating head which barely left any lace
Aroma: green apples, peach, white pear, sweet wheat, sour-ed wheat; hay; grass, lemongrass; wet grains, dandelion/floral and lemon pulp
Flavor: leads with the sour to tart vibe of the blend of the previously noted aromas with a light sweet tone underneath; finishes sour to sweet with the floral to apple-like and peachy tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, good sipper; clean smoothness as the tart and sour features seem to mellow out here fairly well
Overall: pretty nicely done sour/tart saison I would welcome again preferably in the Summer.

Gold body with white head. Pleasant citrus and herb aroma. Nice taste, herbs and citrus with a quick finish. I tasted no snake.

Mmm BA lagers, so much malty vanilla from the barrel, light bodied and almost crisp still but showcasing so much single malt deliciousness.
