Can at Csakajo. Burgundy ruby pour with a short lived pinkish head. Nose and taste are mainly sour cherry, with additional hints of berries in there, no trace of the vanilla. The cheap sour cherry juice that I know way too well is too dominant, and I just cant disregard it

Can at home. Pours a darker, almost copper-nearing golden with a finger wide white head. Bready malty on the nose, almost toasted in fact, biscuity. Slightly oxidized in taste, malty again, barely shows any bitterness and thus lacks balance. The finish feels lime high pH, it’s a bit slippery-soapy, not moreish or refreshing at all.

Hatalmas, nem túl tartós, narancsos árnyalatú hab, sárgabarack szín. Maracujás, kissé fűszeres illat. Savanyú, intenzív maracujás, kissé fűszeres íz. Könnyű, közepesen szénsavas, alig keserű. Túl savanyú, de festés után jól esett.

Semmi hab, sötétbarna szín. Karamelles, enyhén meggyes és malátás illatok. Édes, karamelles, malátás, enyhén meggyes íz. Testes, alig szénsavas, alig keserű. Sajnos a kandiscukor karamelles jellege mindent elnyom, túl édes, meggyet alig érezni nincs savanyú, nincs egyensúly.

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab, barna szín. Illata intanzíven maracujás, némi karamellel. Édes-savanykás, maracujás, cseresznyés, karamelles ízek, leheletnyi alkoholossággal. Közepesen testes, enyhén szénsavas, nem keserű. Finom, kortyolgatós sör, lehet, el kéne tenni egy fél-egy évre, hogy jobban összeérjen.

2015 version, bottle #1525. I’ve had this one in the basement for over a year. Pours black colour with long lasting beige head. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, alcoholic sweetness and even relatively strong hoppy notes are present in aroma. In taste it’s coffee and chocolate first, then some vanilla like notes appearfor a second and the hoppy bitterness afterwards. It has strong coffee bitterness in the long lasting finish. The ABV is perfectly hidden, heavy on body, yet easy to drink. Nice one.
