Pounder: Lemon, honey, biscuit nose. Clear pale yellow, still. Lemon-lime, kiss of honey, orange blossoms. Chestnut finish. Light body, easy carbonation. Somewhat dry, fruity, crisp. Good session mead. Drinks like a mild highball.

Honey, clove nose. Clear pale yellow. Dry honey, cardamom, yeast, clove. Light body, easy carbonation, warm. Tasteful spicing. I would like to have seen a stronger vanilla presence.

Bottle at Shaffer's BBQ in Middletown VA: Pronounced ginger nose, honey underneath. Clear amber, still. Ginger, apple Light body, smooth, somewhat watery. A bit disappointing.
