Description
Crooked Run is a brewery in Loudoun County, Virginia. We started back in 2013 in a 600 sq ft space in Leesburg. Now, we have a ten barrel brewery and taqueria, where we produce many different beers for a thriving taproom with great food, great people, and great music. You can find our beer around the DMV and at all the best beer bars. It took a lot of work and love to get here, and we're very happy to be able to share what we love with you.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to weizen glass.
Appearance: clear yellow color with fast rising bubbles flowing into a three finger white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and leave some light lace
Aroma: some banana to clove to bubblegum spicy to sweet character; sweet wheat underneath
Flavor: mildly sweet through the blend of the prior noted aromas with a mild spicy to tart underneath; finishes crisp with the banana & bubblegum sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness with a lighter toned touch of the kick of wheat
Overall: part of me was wondering if this was more of a Krystalweizen because of the clarity in the appearance but I would still return to this beer because it still turned out to be pretty good in the rest of it's aspects.
