16.9 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Dark brownish body with a bit of beige to light tan head. Aromas of bourbon up front, caramel, hint of dark fruit. Taste has bourbon, caramel/toffee, brown sugar, a bit of dark fruit. Medium to full body. Nice bourbon barrel aged barleywine.

A hazed milky yellow ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light tropical fruits, light kiwi, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, loads of tropical fruits, light berries, light dank notes, well done.

Described as an English style IPA, it drinks as a hybrid with an American IPA hop profile. Aroma is subtly caramel malt forward. Flavor is more hop-forward than aroma would suggest, ending with a clean, piney bitterness. I like the play between the two styles on the palate.
