Lots of booze and grapefruit. Flavors don't come together super well. Golden orange pour with OK head. Bitter finish with plenty of booze. Can.

12oz can pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate roast malts some coffee. Taste is more of the nice rich dark roast and some chocolate.

Solid bourbon amber, full of caramel and apple notes backed up by bourbon, vanilla, oak, and a gentle bitterness. Balanced; the amber isn’t overpowered by the whiskey. Nice.

Not bad, very bitter with a smidge of grapefruit and mandarin offsetting the heavy dose of pine and roast. Finishes with a lingering bitter streak and a touch of chocolate. Pretty good.

On tap at Taco Mac. Clear gold, white head. Tropical fruit, lemon, 7up, candied sugar with a warming finish.

Straightforward marzen, full of toasted bread and caramel, underlined by grain and a subtle floral bitterness. Yeast sticks around in the fade. Decent.

12 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, bubbly, brown head. The nose is coffee, maple, pumpernickel, and pine. Sweet and roasty, with a light, biting bitterness. Medium body, and quite dry. This is a simple, quality stout. Nothing crazy, but very well made.

Interesting, but would be so much better without the abundance of lactose creating a cloy, syrupy back end. Nice notes of chocolate, cherry cola, roast, and mocha, with hints of whiskey and oak meandering on the periphery, but the finish grows much too sweet, with a sticky, lingering lactose presence killing the back end. I'd love to try a non-diabetes-inducing version of this pint.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, red color, with a small, bubbly, beige head. The aroma is oak, caramelized sugar, toast, cherry, and some earth. Sweet and sugary, with a mildly unpleasant bitterness. Pretty nice.
