Billed as Sourglass Petal Blizzard at Bowigens SourFest. I dunno if Hourglass is planning to make Sourglass an official label for their sours, but RB does not seem to have a special separate listing for these, nor are any of their other sours titled Sourglass in the database. Anyway, nice beer! Hazy pale gold. Aroma faintly bready. Doughy and mineral flavors, with a hint of cherry pit. Nicely balanced and pretty enjoyable.

Big bottle at home sipping while watching some film. Chestnut pour little murky smaller head. Nose is rich hard candy varietals from grandmas. Tastes of plums, caramel, molasses, spicy, some wine for sure, slight booziness. Interesting deep beer I dig. Been on Hourglass kick which expensive but fun.

Sample at the 6th Annual Craft Beer Festival by The Community Tap on 04/21/2018. Slightly hazy dark reddish-copper color with a minimal white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lace. Floral aroma with bourbon notes. Full-bodied with flavors of sweet maple, bourbon and apple cider. The finish is spiced apple and bourbon. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the 6th Annual Craft Beer Festival by The Community Tap on 04/21/2018. Clear dark gold color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Grassy hops, vanilla and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of fruit, mild hops, vanilla and spice. The finish is mildly bitter fruit up front with a vanilla aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bomber at home havenβt had a decent saison in a bit so this hit the spot. Deeper orange gold pour big bead. Nose is lovely fruits and florals. I think the age has made this beer quite nice. Mellow fruits of whatever a manzanita may be doughy, hay, apricot, lemon and oaky. Lighter carbonation. Dry and smooth. Really tasty. I will google manzanita immediately.
