Oxford tasting
Hazy amber color. Aroma of fruit, hazelnut, red wine, acetone, malt. Sour, fruity, light residual sweetness, berries, wine.
Pleasant, not very complex.

Bottle thanks to Ryan. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is apple skin, oak, funk, citrus. Thin body, funky, oak, citrus, light tartness, dry finish, good.

Purchased some in Florida: pours a deep gold with a loose head. Aroma is raisins, vanilla, spice. Taste is not nearly as sweet as it could be, which is good. Pretty spicy. Easy to drink. Not really my favorite nevertheless.

Not an especially attractive pour, tea like, minimal head and low carbonation. But that's really the only fault. There's a mild grainy/sugary sweetness, hard to pin down fruitiness, maybe like sour cherry or something tropical. Lightly tart, light funkiness, a bit leathery and earthy.

From a bomber into a snifter. Pours black with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee and dark pit fruits. Flavors are sweet molasses and vanilla. Tasty stuff. Tasted right after KBS and Wicked Weed Dark Age and it holds it own.

Box Elder, Miami bottle: pours a dull red with a head. Aroma is black currant and light sort of farmhouse smell. Taste is not really sour or tart but starting down that road. Black currant taste. Pretty underwhelming.

Box Elder, Miami tap: pours a cloudy orange but not opaque haze. Aroma is citrus and juicy fruit. Taste is juicy and lightly bitter. Quite sweet. Solid enough.

Cute name. Draft at Rock and Brews. Seemed like a nitro pour, very dark brown, almost black, thin but thick creamy head. Nose and flavor feature a lot of chocolate, slightly nutty, perhaps slightly roasty. Semi-sweet at the finish. The creamy mouthfeel of the nitro pour kinda ruins it for me.
