Draft sampler at the 2024 Rocky Water Brew Fest. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a huge white head and excellent retention. Okay for the style, but less juicy than most hazies I've had. Not too hoppy. Middle of the road. Okay.

Draft sampler at the 2024 Rocky Water Brew Fest. Pours a clear light gold color with a white head and good retention. This is over-carbonated and not flavorful enough. A bit generic. Okay.

On tap at Hourglass Brewing - Hourglass District, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma is very boozy and sweet, with tons of peach syrup, maple syrup, and a little cinnamon. Flavour is like a peach & maple syrup liqueur, with sticky maple syrupy sugars, peach syrup, and a hint of cinnamon. It's not refined but I guess it's fun in some way. Not great but not terrible.

On tap at Hourglass Brewing - Hourglass District, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of esters from the Belgian head, some raspberry, and candi sugar. Flavour is surprisingly not that sweet, with ligitly tart raspberry, candi sugar, and esters. Far from an authentic quad but it's not too bad. Meh.

On tap at Hourglass Brewing - Hourglass District, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a tiny tan head. Aroma is weird, smelling like brandy-inoculated raspberry cola. Flavour is much the same, with raspberry cola, brandy, booze, and sugars. Well, I have no idea what they were going for here. It's not egregious but it tastes like a boozy fruit cola, with the consistency to boot. Not what I want in my BA impie.

On tap at Hourglass Brewing - Hourglass District, pours a hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma has fermented out honey, light chalk, pithy stone fruit, and a touch of dankness. Flavour has reasonable clarity for a hazy, with fermented out honey, bittering hops, light dankness, and stone fruit pith. The hops are buried and the honey doesn't seem to add much. It's alright.

On tap at Hourglass Brewing - Hourglass District, pours a cloudy dark burgundy with a tiny beige head. Aroma has plenty of caramel malt, with maybe a touch of smoke in back. Flavour is much drier than expected, with lots of bready caramel t malt, light-to-moderate peat, and bready malt. I like that this is not sweet nor syrupy, yet retains a big malt punch. Well-made.

On tap at Hourglass Brewing - Hourglass District, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is full of light coffee, some clove, and banana esters. Flavour is dry despite being lightly estery, with earthy coffee in back. So it's more like a hef with coffee. It's alright.
