0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague. Shared with Ogi and him. Dark brown, reddish tint, small off-white head. Aroma is malty, syrupy, sugary, fruity. Some smoke or wood. Some spice. Biscuit presence. Very difficult to pick out absinthe from this one. Flavour is malty, caramely, fruity, wood, sugar, some sweetness. Sticky, thick, alcohol hidden. Nuts. Interesting spicy, toasty and fruity dry finish. Quite smooth.

Bottle from Base Camp. Very dark brown body, off white head, disappears fast. Aroma... hmmm... sweet but lightly tart, licorice, some absinthe... fennel? Some dark malts, dog food, chestnut honey. Dry taste, tart, so dry, vague wood, mild absinth, huh. Actually, the mild absinthe presence saves this from being even less impressive and almost drinkable. Messy otherwise. Oh well...

Bottle from Base Camp. Dark brown, almost no head, what little there is is beige. Yay. Aroma - heavy, malty, meaty, sweet and smoky. Okay I mean, but not terribly inviting oily. Lean, oh so simple taste, very well hidden alcohol, very light apple, dry... er... some alcohol, some leather. Sweetish, so lean it's almost watery, dry, slightly leathery - the definition of the beer. But actually quite well hidden alcohol. Eh.

Tap at Zly casy. The mango hits you square in the jaw right up front. Pretty intense mango flavour and texture, the body somewhat filled in by it, while remaining relatively thin overall. Med-high carbonation. Chilli heat is not far behind though, coming up almost immediately, leaving you only a second or two to savour the mango alone. Heat intensity moderate, just right for me, and stays quite uniform throughout. Clean med-light lacto sourness, no big surprises herem Pretty tasty, also quite easy drinking. Quite good one.

Tap at Hells Bells. NIce tropical hop aroma. Smooth taste, creamy, mild tropic notes, odd date notes and vague cloves for a second. Okay really, good but unimpressive.
