Pounder from Archetype. 9.28.23, A little lazy with the what's in the fridge. Pint glass @home while making dinner. Clear, honey gold, tall cloud of off white head. Herbal hops, saline & buttery cracker nose. Very peppery upfront. Bittersweet, prickly herbal, salty crackers. More acid-y & thinner than expected. Stiff & classically bitter finish is nice. A little dry mouth. Light spice & noticeable clove near the finish keeps me from loving it. Very solid+.

Pounder from Archytype West. 6.2% Canned 9/28. How dare they?! Pint glass @home. Clear, mellow gold, plump head. Herbal, light apple acid, fresh linen candle nose. Sharp & a little sweet upfront. Herbal, flat cereal, creme, tiny bit of spice. Decently flavorful for a basic lager. Extra frothy, nice acid, thin upfront then getting creamy, a touch of boost. Kinda nice.

Bottle shared at Blacked out Friday. Thanks Jason! Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Lots of candi sugar on the nose with fig, prune and some spiced apple as it warms. Similar on the palate with some toffee and dark chocolate notes that enter towards the end. Not bad.
