Black with big light brown head. Coffee, weird spices, light sour dry coffee beans, raspberries, cinnamon, bourbon. Quite sweet, less bitter and sour. Full bodied. Quite weird, not really my thing. Looks good though.

Tap at Billies. Clear orange golden. Marzipan, alcohol, chemical sweetness, apple candy, vanilla, bitter herbs. Solid sweet but also boozy bitter. Almost full bodied. Not my thing.

Bottle courtesy of Marcel Scarpato via Craig consumed at home listening to Jon Hopkins - Ritual, Friday 4th October 2024, in the company of Craig and Stella. The nose is a little bit dusty, however there is a peanut edge. Nice balance in the mouth with chocolate, a hint of chilli and then the peanuts, warming. Smooth, but not too smooth, I like the edginess to it. Soft mouthfeel, good, very good. Btw the colour is not as dark as expected there is even a ruby glint.
