12 ounce can from Binny’s River Grove, 9/19/22. New brewery! Despite an attempt a dozen years ago at GTMW. Drunk me saw the taps unguarded and assumed it was pour your own and it didn’t occur to drunk me they were packing up and had removed the tables from their tent. A guy yelled at me which drunk me was pissed off by, but sober me knows the guy was right. Brewery #2099, USA #1702, Illinois #76. Clear dark red, very large tan head, good retention. It was almost a gusher and I can’t fit the 12 ounces into the 20 ounce pint glass. Aroma of rye, toast, stone fruit. Taste is caramel, rye, toast, stone fruit. High carb. Faint hints of plastic in both aroma and taste. Subtle hints of infection, but it’s a decent beer at this point.

Refrigerated 12 oz. can poured into a glass. Hazy golden with big white head. Aroma is wheat esters, light soft body, lower carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is soft wheat esters, grassy hops, and somewhat dry finish.

12 oz can. Puffs up a big head of foam on top of the usual clear gold beer color. Smell is a slightly sweet toasty malt note. A smidgen of German type hops. Decently multi-light lager taste. Seems pretty malty, but I am guessing there's a bit of corn to round it out. the mouth feel still has a bit of sweetness but it tends to finish dry after each sip.

12 oz. bottle. Rich, roasty, malty smell as I open the bottle. Solid black beer with a thin, leggy head. Great scharzbier taste. Roasty malt, but with a clean lager finish. I thought there might be a touch of rice in here. But maybe it's just a feeling of a bit of alcohol not tied to a malt source. A bit of a Guinness-type finish.
