Color ambar cobrizo, espuma copiosa, cremosa, persistente y con abundante encaje. Aroma tostado, maltoso y terroso con cierto toque mineral. En boca se sienten notas terrosas, malta torrefacta, pan tostado, mayormente amarga y algo seca. Una amber ale bien hecha, muy agradable.

Cerveza marrón oscuro con reflejos rojizos, opaca, espuma beige cremosa de media retención. Aroma robusto y contundente a cacao puro, café expreso, ceniza, salazón. En boca los tonos tostados y quemados inundan el paladar , café, chocolate puro, tabaco negro, pan quemado, punto salado, cerveza muy equilibrada para su contundencia, trago muy agradable, oleosa, disfrutable, seca, se torna más dulzona y licorosa conforme atempera, manteniendo siempre ese fondo amargo, ahumado y salado. Cojonuda.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma: tangerine, grapefruit and confectionery. Taste: lemony malts, tangerine and orange zest. Zesty palate.

deep brown to black with a tall beige head. Big pine profile with coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate, and light licorice. Medium to full body. Finish is long on the roasted malt with some pine. Very respectable CDA.

33 cl bottle at La Abadía. A glossy jet black pour with a foamy tan head. Aroma is leather, ink, cocoa, coffee, rotten grapes. Medium-bodied, slightly fizzy, crisp and rather bitter. Okay.
