Pours amber with a large lasting head.Nose shows caramel, pine, soft bready notes and resinous hops.Flavours include pine, resinous hops, caramel.

Toffee, dried leaves aroma, not strong. Clear amber, medium head, nice lace. Dark honey, bread. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Wegmans can. Pale gold, hint of haze, white head. Aroma is lemon-line, salt, light corn. Lime, corn, light salt. Tastes like a lime-tortilla chip, but a good one. Man I miss tortilla chips.

12 ounce can from Wegman’s Charlottesville, 7/28/22. Very hazy, not quite murky, pale orange. Large frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of toast, grain, green hops, floral, citrus. Taste is mango, passionfruit, melon, green, resin. Juicy, mild to moderate bitterness. Nice.

Very crisp and completely clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of grass, light metal, a touch of flowers with some light yeast and grain without any real hops, sweetness or complexity. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours dominate the taste with a little bit of dryness and light bitterness,  seemingly from the malt versus any hops that don't seem to come out at all, but a light floral and slightly astringent punch is noticeable at the end. Aftertaste shows a dry and very grassy finish without much else, aside from a malt and biscuity bite at the end. Overall, a pretty disappointing and very soft lager that at least shows some qualities and a good deal of grassy and hay notes, but not much else. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from the Big Meadows Wayside in 'Luray, Virginia' in Shenandoah National Park,  on 18-June-2022 for US$1,69 and sampled while hiking Shenandoah National Park on 09-July-2022.

$3.95 pint can, WW. Hazy, almost murky apricot-golden with a soft white head. Somewhat dank hops, asphalt, citrus nose... an odd aroma, but not unpleasant. Citrus, hose, bitter grasses, dandelion maybe? Not off the wall odd, but different.

$4.75 pint can, WW. Hazy to murky orange with a soft white head. Bitter grapefruit, orange peel, berry, tropical fruit nose. Berry, spruce, orange peel, mango. Piney-spruce-like finish.

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2! 7/22/22/22/22/22/22/22/22/22. I like doing that when there's a repeater. Dark red appearing dark brown in the glass. Medium dark tan head, good retention. Aroma of nuts, coffee, dark fruits. Taste is caramel, grape, plum, cherry, soy, chocolate, nuts. Well balanced, tasty.

12 ounce can from Wegman's Charlottesville, 7/22/22. Very hazy orange, medium off-white head, good retention. Aroma of mango, pineapple, perfume. Taste is mango, pineapple, pale malt. Juicy. Pretty simple, but well made.
