Until 2014 the name was "Fritz Ale". Due to trademark issues with ''Fritz-Kola'' the owner, Fritz Wülfing, was forced to change the name of the brewery. Formerly client brewed at Braustelle, Cologne and Siegburger Abteibrauerei, Siegburg.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before December 2034. Hazy, very dark ruby to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, slightly roasty, quite vinous-fruity aroma of red wine, oak, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate and some coffee. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit sourish, gently roasty and fairly vinous-fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, ash, lots of red wine, oak and some caramel, followed by a long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly tart, fairly woody finish. Medium to full body, slightly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very interesting beer, according to the label brewed in 2019 (!), aged in red wine barrels for the following five to six years. Maybe a bit too much barrel actually, has taken over completely.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grainy, malty and citrusy fruity aroma, hints of lime, a touch of old lemon peel. Taste is slightly grainy, pale malty and citrusy hoppy, notes of lime, a touch of lime peel, old lemon peel.
Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, scattered, soft carbonation.
Simple, monotonous, almost a tad insipid - so-so.

330ml bottle. "Dirty", hazy amber colour with small to average, frothy, osteoporosing, off-white head. Slightly zesty and minimally waxy, citrusy fruity and minimally leafy, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, hints of lemon tea, lemon. Taste is bitter, minimally zesty, citrusy fruity and slightly leafy hoppy, caramel malty basis with very low residual sweetness, hints of lemon, old lemon peel, some lemon tea, a touch of black tea.
Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Fairly refreshing without overly fresh hop flavours - nothing spectacular.

BB 31.08.2025. yellow lightly hazy color, small white head. smells flowery, rubbery, earthy, bit herbal. decent smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, bit soapy, light exotic fruit notes, lychee, lime, bit herbal, some coriander. finishes dry and light to medium bitter with notes of citrus, grass and earthy notes. pretty nice one overall, rather on the subtle side, rather drinkable.

Sweetish, rather fruity and a little dank aroma of mango, orange and passion fruit. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity and a bit dank taste of mango, passion fruit, orange and nettles, followed by a short, quite bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not that great, probably not as intended, still quite drinkable.
