My overly sensitive whisky barrel sense is ticking a little on overdrive here. Light raisin still present. At the end of the day the beer is a little better with the barrel. Light boozy sweet finish. Tap at Churchkey.

Draft at Churchkey. Clear golden color, fluffy off white head. Nice flor aroma. The peppers arrive early in the flavor and are long lasting, but eith a tingle rather than geat. Decent.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the Old Ox DC Debut event. Slightly hazy golden brown with off-white head. Aromas of floral notes, light pepper skins. Tastes of jalapeno skins, citrus, some malt, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Like other jalapeno beers, not much in terms of heat but the jalapeno flavor is solid.
