Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a murky golden-peach color with a small foamy orange-white head that faded quickly and left good lacing. The aroma was musty and dusty a medicinal and band aid note. The flavor was dry, musty, chalky, dusty and had notes of phenol and band aid. Long finish. Medium body.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a reddish brown color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was strong perfume, cat pee and cactus. The flavor was strong pine, cat pee and cactus. The hops overwhelm all of the interesting malts and leave room only for a vague caramel note. Long finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

The appearance was a rustic burnt orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some orange zest, citrusy bitter hops, some dry grassiness, champagne, spruce and ended with a little bit of hay.
The flavor started with a nice sweet to zesty citrusy/orange quality. Brought the champagne sweetness in with the bitterness of the citrus. Aftertaste had some sweet wheat with a little bit of dry grassiness. Finish was quick with a little bit of spice.
The palate was light bodied with a higher than expected carbonation. ABV felt as projected but had that spritzy sort of effect to it.
Overall, well considering I don’t like wine period, hope this doesn’t effect reviews after me. Just don’t like wine and this was too wine/champagne-like.

The appearance was a light orange to almost yellow color with a finger’s worth of sustaining white foamy head. Fell off at a decent pace to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some pine and orange peel up front with some clean freshly cut grass, grapefruit and a light floral type of sweetness at the end.
The flavor mixed all of that together pretty nice to lead into the aftertaste and finish.
The palate was between light and medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt correct. Got somewhat spritzy on my tongue.
Overall, pretty good blonde ale. I’d have again.

The appearance was a dark brown close to black with a flimsy cap of a little white head. Slyly dissipated, subtle lace.
The aroma had some roasted coffee beans, dark fruit sweetness, some milk chocolate, light amount of dark chocolate and a touch of some bitter leather/earthy hoppiness.
The flavor blended sweet to roasty with a touch of bitterness coming about. Almost seemed English styled to me. Fairly smooth aftertaste with the dark fruits and chocolate. Finish was semi-malty and sweet.
The palate was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty good porter, I thought this was more English styled, but I’d still have again.

The appearance was a jet black color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a mild pace. Stringy lace.
The aroma had a robust dark roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate nibs, baker’s chocolate, sweet grains and a light earthiness.
The flavor leaned towards the robust roasty content at first with just a touch of sweetness at the end. Super low amount of bitterness. Aftertaste and finish were the same.
The feel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Healthy ABV with good carbonation. Roastiness doesn’t impart rigid harshness as I thought it would. I mean, well, there’s some, but not distracting nor was this smooth.
Overall, well, damn, that’s a really nice sturdy yet simple porter!
