Is this a brown ale? Sour ale? Wild ale? Interesting tart and funky bourbon stuff. Surprised and impressed. Though their logo looks like black project -_-

Bomber. 2018 bottle. Aroma is vinegar, wood, dark fruit, caramel, jammy, funky. Pours dark brown with amber highlights and a one finger beige head that falls into a ring pretty quick. Taste is moderately tart (3/5), very woody with coconut and vanilla notes, tannic. Not as tasty as the aroma let on, but it sure is interesting and complex. It keeps changing as it warms in the glass. At first I thought it was overly astringent, but now it seems very drinkable. Crazy beer and very good.

For an imperial IPA it has the bitterness the body and the oomph but there's no real hop flavor or aroma. And actually the bitterness and it finishes quite long and not that Pleasant.
